From a Sportsbook point of view, which is where are focusing our reviews, the SkyBet site isn’t the most appealing of them all. The look of the site is quite simplistic though the addition of SkyBet TV and the fact you can watch Sky Sports through the site if you are a subscriber is a major bonus for in-running punters. If you don’t have Sky Sports you can still watch certain live events through the SkyBet Player but this doesn’t include Premiership or Champions League action. You can also watch live Horse Racing via Racing UK if you place a £5 bet on the race you want to watch.
SkyBet has very good coverage of a wide variety of sports with a nice selection of American sports including NASCAR, MMA & UFC. They also provide plenty of specials including Music Specials, Politics plus TV and Film betting.
The site includes Football Blogs, Live Score Centre, Betting news, Betting Previews and a Betting Calculator among it’s added features.
A big plus that SkyBet has is their extensive ‘promos’ section where you can find anything from Free bets for referring friends, a weekly Saturday Super 6 competition where you can win up to £100k, Price Boosts and their Fairplay Bookmaker offers where for example they will refunds bets should you have a season’s top scorer bet placed and your player moves league. The promotions team work hard at coming up with new ideas and they are undoubtedly one of the leaders in this area.
