BECKHAM

With the news that David Beckham has agreed a Januray loan move back to AC Milan from LA Galaxy the chances of him now appearing at the 2010 World Cup have taken a huge boost.

Fabio Capello has always made it quite clear to Becks that to be in with a shout of boarding the plane to South Africa the 34 year old would need to be playing football and doing so at a higher level than the MLS. Beckham had a successful period with the Rossoneri last season where he became a fans favourite with some outstanding performances to show he still has what it takes to play at the top level evcen though he has been taking it easy in America for the last few years.

With Beckham’s chances of heading to South Africa having greatly increased on this news only one bookmaker currently has some special best available on how the former Man United star will fare come next year.

Coral are offering odds of 1-7 that Becks will NOT start England’s opening 2010 World Cup match while giving 4-1 on him being in the starting line-up. They are also offering odds of 50-1 on the novelty bet that Beckham scores in the World Cup Final.
